It is ideal for Probashi Bangladeshis / Returning Bangladeshis who do not wish to earn interest due to religious or other reasons. This account also comes with cheque book and ATM card and is ideal for regular transaction. **This account will be maintained in Taka.

The NRB must have valid Residence / Work permit.

Nominee Photos: 1 pp size with account holder attestation on the reverse side. Photo may be kept pending at the time of account opening and must be provided with 15 days of account opening.
Identification: Photocopy of Valid passport (6 pages) with due attestation. In case of foreign passport attested photocopy of no visa required for travel to Bangladesh page required.
Valid VISA: Entry VISA with due attestation. If it is in any other language other than English, no translation is required.
Work/Residency Permit: Not required. However it may be taken when visa is not valid to prove that applicant is legally residing abroad.

Probashi Savings Account offers a regular savings account in local currency for the NRBs who is residing abroad and want to save their hard-earned money to utilize in future after coming back to Bangladesh.

Eligibility

Any NRB who is between 18 to 65 years of old can open this account
The NRB must have valid Residence / Work permit.

BRAC Bank Probashi Fixed Deposit

A fixed deposit account allows you to deposit your money for a set-period of time, there by earning you a higher rate of interest in return. Fixed Deposits can be made from 3 months to 3 years. Interest is paid on the maturity at a very attractive rate. ** This account will be maintained in Taka.

NRBs can choose any of the Fixed Deposit maturity period from the tenures of : 3 months, 6 months, 12 months, 24 months, 36 months.
Auto renewal on maturity, if no instruction is received.

Probashi Abiram is a Fixed Deposit, which is ideal for NRBs who want to get a return every month. If the NRB has sufficient fund, s/he can open Probashi Abiram for 1 year to 3 years tenure .The interest will be paid every month on the Probashi Savings/Current Account automatically. This is ideal for customers who want to pay their DPS installments. Accounts will be maintained in Taka.

Probashi Wage Earner Development Bond (WEDB) is a product designed by Bangladesh Central bank for Bangladeshi national living abroad. The objective of this product is to encourage the NRBs to invest their hard earned money to purchase bonds on which the government guarantees a secure and tax free income with a stable and lucrative interest rate.

This bond can be purchased in the denomination of BDT 25000, 50000, 100000, 200000, 500000, 1000000, 5000000
The purchaser can purchase Bond any amount in multiples of BDT. 25,000/- without any maximum limit
No restriction on frequent transactionsThe interest rate is 12 % per annum payable on half-yearly basis
The interest rate is 12 % per annum payable on half-yearly basis
The tenure is five years
Tax exemption on the principal
Can be used as security for any loan
Death risk benefit up to 40% to 50% of investment.
Auto renewal option available
Investors of BDT 80 Million and above shall be treated as CIP.
Purchaser of Wage Earner's Development Bond can repatriate the principal amount of the bond in foreign currency

A Bangladeshi wage-earner serving abroad
- in his own name ; or
- in the name of any other person named in his application;
Government employees working abroad

Bangladeshis living abroad can send their remittance in the easiest and most convenient way to the nominated registered bKash Account Holders in Bangladesh through enlisted Bank and Exchange Houses.

To send International Remittance from abroad to a bKash Account in Bangladesh, please do the followings:

Go to a participating enlisted Exchange House/Bank branch.
Let the enlisted Exchange House/Bank branch Agent know that you want to send remittance to Bangladesh through bKash.
Fill out the bKash related information correctly on the Remittance Request Form available at the enlisted Exchange House/Bank branch.
The enlisted Exchange House/Bank branch Agent will help you to complete the process.

While sending remittance from abroad the Exchange House and Bank Agent must ensure the followings:

Recipients number is a registered bKash Account and belongs to one of the mobile operators who is partnered with bKash. Currently Robi, Grameenphone, Banglalink and Airtel i.e. 018, 017, 019 or 016, have partnership with bKash.
Recipients bKash Account number is correct.
The number has been written clearly and accurately.

Receipt of International Remittance on nominated bKash Account in Bangladesh :

The foreign remittance transacted by enlisted Exchange House/Bank would be received through following registered Banks in Bangladesh and the remittance would be sent to your nominated bKash Account :

When the remittance reaches the nominated bKash Account through either of the nominated Banks in Bangladesh, the recipient will receive a confirmation message on the mobile phone.
No charge is applicable to receive International Remittance on bKash Account. You have to pay bKash standard Cash Out Charge only when you need to withdraw money from bKash Agent or BRAC Bank ATM.
